Embracing a Posture of Kingdom Generosity

We all agree that our God is generous, yet we often cling to what we have, operating from fear of loss or disappointment. Our desire, though, is to be a generous people, keeping our hands open and sharing what God has given us for his kingdom purposes.

A church that partners in world missions inspires people to reevaluate their understanding of stewardship. When their mindset of generosity is developed, believers recognize that God can use them to impact not only their family and community but also peoples and nations around the world.

Motivation for Purposeful Giving

How could a posture of generosity change the way you and your church make ministry decisions? How could this impact your community? How could God be calling your church to invest in making disciples of the nations?

In his book, Gaining by Losing, J.D. Greear states, “Sending out leaders creates more leaders. What you send out inevitably comes back to you in multiplied form.” The OMS Church Partners team wants to help your church intentionally leverage your generosity.
